Challenge

Six lines ran on mixed Siemens and Allen-Bradley controls with no shared data layer. Downtime was reconstructed from paper logs a day late, so root causes were guesswork and OEE reporting was unreliable.

Solution

We retrofitted OPC UA and MQTT edge gateways to every PLC, standardised tag naming to an ISA-95 model, streamed telemetry into a historian and Azure IoT Hub, and layered Ignition SCADA dashboards plus vibration-based predictive maintenance models on top.

Challenge

The OEM needed drowsiness and distraction detection that ran entirely in-cab on a TDA2x SoC — no cloud round trip, no added hardware cost, and accurate across night driving, glasses and varied cabin geometry.

Solution

We collected and labelled a cabin-specific dataset, trained a quantised CNN for eye-state, head-pose and gaze estimation, and optimised the inference graph for the DSP/EVE accelerators. An MLOps pipeline handles retraining as new fleet footage arrives.
